Why? There are so many other transcription sites, why start another?

While a very large number of transcriptions exist, none exist in a single database format that can be easily searched. the USGENWEB transcriptions have had restrictions placed on them that prevented us from including them in our database, so we began re-transcribing cemeteries for inculsion in out database. Our base cemetery list came from the USGS places and names database, and is currently being corrected and updated to include more cemeteries.
